Dr. Daniel G. Todd

Owner, Veterinarian

Dr. Todd purchased Glenwood Veterinary Clinic in 2005 and relocated it to its present location in June of 2009. Following the opening of the new state-of-the-art facility the name was changed to Mount Berry Animal Hospital to better reflect its location.

In 2017 Dr. Todd opened a second practice in Cave Spring. That location, Cave Spring Animal Hospital, cares for both companion and farm animals.

Since coming to Rome, Dr. Todd has been working with pre-veterinary students from Berry College. To date 24 Berry students that have worked in his clinic have become veterinarians or are currently in vet school.

Dr. Todd was a founding member of the Northwest Georgia Veterinary Emergency Center and the first chairman of the board from 2017-2020. He was also the past president of the Northwest Georgia Vet Med Association.

Prior to coming to Rome, Dr. Todd worked as an associate veterinarian from 2001 to 2005 at Conyers Animal Hospital in Conyers Georgia. Before becoming a veterinarian, Dr. Todd did human medical research in the areas of breast cancer and hypertension. He also taught human physiology at Marshall University School of Nursing and Cellular and Molecular Biology at Marshall School of Medicine.

Dr. Todd currently resides in Cave Spring with his wife Donna, 2 cats and 3 dogs.

Dr. Nia Granville

Veterinarian

Dr. Nia Granville grew up in Roswell, GA before attending Berry College for her undergraduate degree. During her time at Berry, she actually worked at Mount Berry Animal Hospital. She graduated from University of Georgia Veterinary School in 2023.

When not at work Dr. Granville enjoys spending time with her husband and her dog, Chapo. She has a wide variety of hobbies but her main ones include working out, going to football games, and board games.
